Alan Norris

Senior Safety Manager

Alan Norris brings over 25 years of experience in construction safety, with a focus on complex projects in both civil and building sectors. His notable roles include Director of Construction Safety for the Port of Seattle and Safety Manager for the East Side Access Tunnel, the largest infrastructure project in the U.S. Alan’s experience includes managing safety on MDC’s Hartford Conveyance Tunnel and overseeing sensitive projects like the South Yard Assembly Building for the U.S. Navy. A member of ASSP for 30 years, Alan holds a CHST certification, reflecting his leadership in safety management.

Geoffrey Rowntree

Construction Health and Safety Technician

With over 30 years of safety management experience, Geoffrey Rowntree has led safety efforts on major infrastructure projects, including the South Hartford Conveyance and Storage Tunnel at MDC. His expertise includes improving contractor safety, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with emergency response teams. Geoffrey’s extensive qualifications include multiple OSHA certifications, a BS in Business Administration, and experience as a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer, solidifying his leadership in crisis management and safety compliance.

Edward P. Mason

Safety Coordinator

Edward Mason is a seasoned safety professional with extensive experience in safety supervision, management, and consulting across industries like construction, petrochemical, and manufacturing. He has held leadership roles such as Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager, overseeing teams and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. With certifications in OSHA safety, scaffolding, HAZWOPER training, and emergency response, Edward brings a hands-on approach and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and operational efficiency, making him an invaluable asset to the Alleyne Safety Partners team.

John Joseph Ricci

Fire Safety and Emergency Response Specialist

John Ricci’s 30-year career in fire safety includes leadership roles in both public safety and private construction sectors. As a former Battalion Chief and Safety Coordinator, John has managed emergency response and technical rescue operations on large-scale projects. He holds various OSHA and FEMA certifications, including expertise in structural collapse and confined space rescue. His leadership with Connecticut Task Force 1 USAR Team and extensive technical rescue experience ensure expert handling of emergency and safety challenges.
